The Department of Dramatic Literature has a history of more than 50 years. Many renowned scholars have taught in the Department, such as ZHOU Yibai, SUN Jiaxiu, LIAO Kedui, ZHU Zhaonian, TAN Peisheng, YAN Xue. The Department boasts of many renowned scholars and famous playwrights and writers among its alumni, such as XIAO Fuxing, LU Xing’er, ZHU Xiaoping, XIE Lihong, HUANG Weiruo, FAN Yuan, SHI Hang.
