The Young Children’s Learning & Development BA (Hons) Degree is open to anyone with a relevant foundation degree who wishes to continue studies to achieve a full Level 6 degree. The course will deepen your critical understanding and develop your research and reflective skills in relation to children’s learning.

The Level 6 course is designed to build on knowledge from a Foundation degree and any experiences in the ECEC sector. It is aimed at producing practitioners and leaders who are skilled and knowledgeable about the early years and who can lead, promote and develop practice in many areas of work with children and families.

Modules include opportunities for individual research on chosen subjects in order to deepen your own interests and specific subject knowledge, courses on leadership and management, theories of learning, working with children and families and reflection on personal and professional development.
