Since its inception in 1962, Dawood College of Engineering & Technology (DCET) has been making sincere efforts and vanguard in developing potential youth of the nation in the field of engineering & technology. DCET’s leading objective is not just to provide teaching facility; but to impart quality education across the nation. As a result of the hard work by the devoted staff, in 2013, Dawood College was awarded the status of the University. Dawood University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi (DUET) is committed to academic excellence. Continuing with its vision DUET established the department of Computer System Engineering (CSE) and offers the Four Years Bachelor of Computer System Engineering. The passed-out students start their role in the progress of the nation after getting jobs in reputed organizations in the various and connected field of Computers, some of students pursuing higher studies as well. The curriculum is designed to meet the requirement of educational, research, and market trends. An understanding of the social, economic and safety considerations are stressed in the curriculum and as per the guidelines of the HEC and approved by the Board of Studies and Academic Council. Curriculum is revised on a regular basis to incorporate the modern trends and requirement associated to the field. The graduates can apply knowledge of mathematics, probability & statistics, computer sciences and engineering as it applies to the fields of Computer Engineering to meet desired needs. Qualified and experienced faculty is the strength of the department.
