The Masters degree in “Water, Soil and Waste Management and Treatment” (GTESD) is a 16-month vocational degree accredited by the Ministry of National Education, starting in October and finishing in the second January following. Dedicated to environmental engineering, this course combines scientific, methodological, and technological knowledge applied to water, soil and waste. The degree in Water Soil and Waste Management and Treatment is a Masters 2 program provided by AgroParisTech in partnership with Chimie ParisTech, École des Ponts ParisTech, ENSTA ParisTech, ESPCI ParisTech, and MINES ParisTech. This degree aims to train high-level executives capable of doing innovative work in identifying, managing, and tackling environmental problems. It is a response to a need expressed by French companies for the training of managers in emerging countries. The aim is to give international students the broad and solid scientific grounding they need in order to understand the dynamics of geo-systems (water, soil), to assess the impact of human activities and to implement the tools, techniques, and systems needed to correct them.
