École Polytechnique's Ingénieur Polytechnicien program is a unique degree with 3 years studying on campus to get a Master of Engineering, Science and Technology, and a 4th year that can be done on another campus and outside of France for a specialisation. At the end of the four years, the students obtain two master degrees and the final Diploma of École Polytechnique. École Polytechnique ensures that students graduate with both an excellent scientific education and a strong multidisciplinary background. The curriculum focuses mainly on science, with classes in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Computer Science, Mechanics, but also includes a variety of other subjects like Foreign Languages, Sports, Humanities, Social Sciences, Arts and Literature. In order to be accepted into the Ingénieur Polytechnicien Program, applicants must pass an entrance examination involving two different steps: admissibility and admission.

In order to be admitted to the Ingénieur Polytechnicien Program, applicants need to pass an entrance examination in two steps: admissibility and then admission. Depending on which undergraduate studies applicants have followed and their nationality, they qualify for one of our 4 different entrance exams. As we understand that not all students have studied the same majors depending on their background, the entrance exam is adapted to your undergraduate diploma.
