The MSIC Bachelor's degree trains professionals with expertise in the installation, maintenance, security, and improvement of intelligent and connected multi-technical systems in 3 years.

The targeted sectors of activity are industry, digital and services: smart industry, smart energy, smart city, smart building, smart health, smart mobility.

Industry of the future, digital, mobility, energy, medical, smart buildings, the city of tomorrow... are really exciting areas to explore!

It is a 3-year Bachelor Program including :

- A first academic year with a student status,

- A second and third academic years with an apprenticeship statut.

Courses are only taught in french.

The program includes an internship of 1 month in first year and work periods in industry in second and third years.

The 1st year under student status lays the foundations of the training in the key areas of the Bachelor's degree (Electricity, Automation and Computer Science, Mechatronic Systems and Maintenance Concepts and Tools). It ends with an internship in a company lasting 4 to 8 weeks.

The 2nd year takes place under apprentice status, on a work-study program mainly monthly school company.

The 3rd year under apprentice status, is composed of a semester of training and a semester in a company.

From the first semester, the follow-up of each student is personalized, within a class of about thirty students with support in particular to access an internship in the 1st year and an apprenticeship position from the 2nd year. These in-company experiences allow a concrete discovery of the targeted professions and promote integration among our partner companies.

The training places particular emphasis on project-based pedagogy, technicality, the company's culture as well as transversal teaching (soft skills) that meet the requirements of the maintenance profession.

The sense of concreteness is privileged with a balance of theory / practice / innovation.

Numerous practical works allow the mastery of the tools associated with the profession and its future developments.

Four major projects punctuate the curriculum, and others are implemented in the modules, starting in the first semester. In the 2nd year, the subjects of the projects are given by companies or the Research Institute of the IRSEEM school

The share of practice (practical work and projects) corresponds to a third of the pedagogical activities in the 1st year. It increases throughout the curriculum, as does the degree of autonomy of the students.

The ESIGELEC Research Laboratory in Embedded Electronic Systems (IRSEEM) allows a first discovery of the world of research through visits and meetings with researchers and doctoral students.

A "monitoring and benchmarking" course allows you to discover the research environment and the job of a researcher. It also aims to clarify the link between industry and research and to carry out a monitoring project in a trinomial format. This teaching is provided by IMT Nord Europe.

The MSIC Bachelor's degree course involves an international internship in order to open up to other cultures, and to create a network. Lasting a minimum of 4 consecutive weeks, it takes place between April and the end of August of the 2nd year, during the work-study period. Various formats are possible: assignment in a subsidiary of the company where the work-study program takes place, technical internship in another company, summer job, etc.

Training in interculturality is also provided in the 2nd year.

The compulsory modern language is English. Particular attention is also paid to mastery of French, written and oral communication.

After obtaining the "Bachelor's degree in Maintenance of Intelligent and Connected Systems from ESIGELEC in agreement with IMT Nord Europe", the graduates are destined to enter the majority of companies. The Bachelor's degree (Bac+3), acquired by obtaining the Bachelor's degree recognized by the State, allows some to consider continuing their studies in many courses (University Masters, Engineering Schools, etc.).

The financing of studies* in the 2nd and 3rd year is covered by companies through the apprenticeship tax. The apprentice receives a salary during his last 2 years of training. This salary depends on their age and the length of the contract.

* In the 1st year, the tuition fees for the MSIC Bachelor's degree are €6,000 (€4,500 for French State scholarship holders), accompanied by an application fee of €150, medical protection of €40, and an association life card of €60. Apprentices in the 2nd and 3rd year only pay the association card of €60 per year.
