Years 1 & 2

Campus & track selection

Students may begin their studies at any of ESSEC’s three international campuses:

• ESSEC France (Paris-Cergy): English or French track

• ESSEC Asia-Pacific (Singapore): English track

• ESSEC Africa (Rabat): English or French track

Core curriculum

In Years 1 and 2, the ESSEC Global BBA delivers a standardized core curriculum across all three campuses, tailored to leverage each region’s unique business ecosystem.

• Master core quantitative and management disciplines, including mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, business law, and organizational behavior.

• Address evolving business dynamics through specialized coursework in entrepreneurship, responsible marketing, e-business, geopolitics, and international trade.

• Acquire command of at least three languages, with English and French mandatory for non-native speakers.

Hands-on professional experience

• 1-month Field Experience: An introductory field immersion designed to foster adaptability and expose students to new operational challenges.

• 3-month Operational Experience: A first hands-on corporate immersion in a junior-level role to understand operational organization within a company.

Years 3 & 4

Specialized curriculum & electives

In Years 3 and 4, students tailor their academic path through an extensive catalog of elective courses and seminars. They can choose between maintaining a broad generalist profile or specializing in a targeted domain, including:

Management, Marketing, Accounting, Economics, Human Resources, Information Systems, Financial Mathematics, Business Law, Operations, Entrepreneurship, and Business Analytics.

All students complete an international academic exchange, fostering cultural agility, expanding foreign language proficiency, and preparing them for leadership in multicultural environments.

> Admission note: Double degree programs are highly selective with limited capacity. Eligibility depends on academic performance and language prerequisites completed during Years 1 and 2.

Advanced professional experience

Students apply their knowledge in higher-responsibility roles to ensure seamless entry into the global job market:

• 6-month Managerial Internship: A strategic corporate immersion taking on project-leading responsibilities in complex business environments.

• Work-study track (Apprenticeship): Alternate periods of study and corporate employment. This track offers a significant career boost, a salary, and full coverage of tuition fees by the employer.
