The details of the double degree have been worked out between Bordeaux Sciences Agro (École Nationale Supérieure des Sciences Agronomiques de Bordeaux-Aquitaine) and Eszterházy Károly Catholic University within this framework. This cooperation contract has been signed in July 2020.
This cooperation contract enables Hungarian students to participate in the viticulture-oenology programme of the French university for two semesters, furthermore French students can also learn at Eszterházy Károly Catholic University for two semesters alike. As the result of the process students can get a viticulture and oenology BSc degree both at Eszterházy Károly Catholic University and at Bordeaux Sciences Agro.
You can learn about the processes and technology of grape and wine production, the domestic and world varieties. You will learn the basics of the biology and ecological needs of grapes, variety breeding, oenological chemistry and microbiology. You will also learn about the viticultural aspects of entomology, plant pathology, agro-meteorology, soil science and the basics of vine plant protection. You will gain knowledge of the science, engineering and economics of viticulture and winemaking, as well as the basics of wine marketing.
