Hanken offers Master’s degree studies in English at two locations, in Helsinki and in Vaasa. The Master programme in English language is a 2-year-long programme (120 ECTS) and the studies are full-time studies on-site at the campus that you get admitted to. At the end of the 2 years the Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration degree is awarded.

For EU citizens Hanken's programmes are free of charge. Non-EU/EEA students admitted to Hanken's Master's degree programmes are required to pay tuition of 15000€/year. For such fee-paying students, Hanken offers scholarships.

  • Application period: 8 January at 8:00 AM–22 January 2025 at 3:00 PM (UTC+2)
  • Open to all applicants holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Open to all Master's degree programmes in English


Rolling admission round

  • Application period: 23 January at 8:00 AM–16 April 2025 at 3:00 PM (UTC+3)
  • Open to applicants holding a Bachelor's degree within Economic Sciences obtained outside Finland  
  • Open to only the following programmes:
    • International Strategy and Sustainability (Helsinki)
    • Marketing (Helsinki)
    • Marketing and Management (Vaasa)
    • Supply Chain Management (Helsinki)
  • Higher admission requirements than in in the Main Admission Round and quicker admission process
