The Management-Marketing degree prepares students for decision-making positions in a variety of industries. Students are taught how companies function and operate as well as broad based concepts such as business plan development, strategy, and corporate social responsibility.
The Management-Marketing courses encompass the full spectrum of how companies operate and grow, including operations management, small business management, and the knowledge and training needed to pursue marketing careers in various roles and industries. A degree or minor in Management-Marketing can also qualify graduates for business and financial careers.
Students in the Management-Marketing concentration are required to take three (3) credit hours (one semester) of an internship as part of their curriculum. These internship placements provide the students with key skills that set them apart in the marketplace. Prior to starting their first internship course, they are required to design a professional resume, conduct a mock interview with our Career Department, and develop a set of objectives they hope to reach while in their site placements. These
placements provides students with key contacts which they can use for references after graduation.
