Graduate with extensive professional experience
The Bachelor of Business Administration includes 3 international internships, giving you up to 1.5 years of practical professional experience before graduating.
You can pursue opportunities in hospitality, luxury, finance, marketing, retail and other customer-centered sectors. These internships allow you to test different career paths, build workplace confidence and begin developing an international professional network.
Dedicated career coaches will help you define your goals, identify opportunities, improve your CV and prepare for interviews.
You will also have access to Swiss Education Group’s International Recruitment Forum, held twice a year and connecting students with recruiters from more than 100 companies.
Choose the programme that matches your goals
HIM provides programmes and pathways for different academic backgrounds, language needs and career ambitions.
- Bachelor of Business Administration: Combine American business education with Swiss customer-experience expertise and three international internships. After completing the business fundamentals, choose one of four specializations: Finance, Marketing, Management or Hospitality Management. Graduates receive a Bachelor of Business Administration in their chosen major from Northwood University and a separate qualification from HIM Business School.
- French-English bilingual BBA: Begin your business studies in French while progressively strengthening your English before moving towards English-language instruction. Students choose from the same four specializations: Finance, Marketing, Management or Hospitality Management.
- Chinese-English bilingual BBA: Begin with courses delivered primarily in Chinese, supported by business-English development, before progressing towards English-language instruction. The programme includes three international internships and the same four specializations: Finance, Marketing, Management or Hospitality Management.
- Master in Applied AI in Customer Experience: Specialize in the use of artificial intelligence, data and emerging technologies to improve customer journeys, support business decisions and lead customer-centered organizational transformation.
- Advanced Federal Diploma — Économiste d’entreprise ES (Business Economist): Follow a professionally focused route combining business education with two internships before choosing one of four specializations: Finance, Marketing, Management or Hospitality Management. Students may progress to the final stage of the Northwood University BBA. The applicable recognition status should be confirmed for the relevant intake.

Located in the heart of Europe, Switzerland offers year-round beauty and adventure. It provides endless outdoor activities like mountain biking, river rafting, and paragliding in summer, while winter brings skiing, sledding, and numerous other winter sports. Students get to enjoy free excursions to top Swiss cities like Bern, Lucerne, and Zurich, immersing themselves in the country's culture. Thanks to its central location, traveling around Switzerland is convenient by train or plane.
HIM campus is an activity hub offering many options for students outside their studies. Organized by our Sports and Leisure Coordinator, students can enjoy themed nights, BBQs, and movie screenings, as well as participate in local sports like volleyball and basketball. Additionally, students have access to a nearby gym and a student lounge equipped with games like pool and darts, providing a space to relax and socialize with friends.
Tuition fees
Scholarship options include awards for Swiss citizens, Swiss permit holders, high-achieving applicants through merit-based scholarships, and students from selected academic partner institutions. Swiss citizens may benefit from a 30% tuition scholarship throughout their studies, while eligible C-permit holders may receive a 20% tuition scholarship.
All applications are evaluated individually based on specific eligibility criteria.
Scholarships apply to tuition fees only, cannot be combined with other fee reductions, and are subject to annual availability.
In addition, HIM offers flexible payment plans and facilitates access to loan options for eligible EU students.
