Applicants hold or expect to hold a bachelor’s degree before enrollment at KAIST. Bachelor’s degree must be equivalent to a Korean Bachelor’s degree which takes four years of study. Korean citizens who hold dual citizenship are not eligible for applying as international students.

KAIST College of Business offers full-time and part-time programmes for international students, in MBA and master’s disciplines.

Full-time MBA courses include:

  • Technology MBA (two years)
  • Finance MBA (two years)
  • Social Entrepreneurship MBA (two years)


KCB also offers master’s programmes for international students including:

  • Green Business and Policy Program (two years)


For domestic students only, programmes including the following are offered:

Students who wish to apply to study at KAIST College of Business must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher. The bachelor’s degree must be equivalent to a Korean bachelor’s degree, which typically requires four years of study.

The KCB application process consists of:

  • Online application
  • Two recommendation letters
  • Proof of an applicable certified degree or diploma
  • Relevant English proficiency test
  • Up-to-date CV

The current fee for application is 80,000 KRW ($80 USD). Tuition fees average at 25,593,000 KRW (around $22,000 USD) per year, although fees differ depending on discipline and course length.

Funding and scholarship programs are available at KAIST College of Business. The funding options available for applicants differs between departments, and the scholarships are provided by a host of different sources. The include the KAIST Scholarship, the Korean Government Scholarship, the KOICA-KAIST Scholarship, and the Hyundai Motor CMK Foundation – KAIST Scholarship.
