K-State offers over 250 Bachelor’s degrees, minors, and certificates in nine colleges. 

Usual undergraduate entry requirements: 

• GPA (grade point average) of 2.5 or higher

• School Transcripts (in English)

• Completed Application form

• Application Fee of US$80

International students can learn more about admissions here, including enrollment required for English Proficiency.  You need to provide proof of your English ability before taking classes.

In addition, the university offers special scholarships for international students: Kansas State International Excellences Award.

K-State offers 74 master’s programs, 41 doctoral programs, four educational doctoral programs, 44 graduate certificates. Graduate programs are offered in a range of disciplines including agriculture, architecture, arts, education, engineering, humanities, physical sciences, social sciences.

Usual postgraduate requirements (may differ for individual programs): 

• 3.0 GPA

• Standardized test results (i.e. GMAT/GRE)

• Application materials

• Personal statement

• Letters of reference

Graduate School candidates who aren’t English native language speaker must achieve:

• TOEFL score: minimum 79 internet-based or 550 paper-based

• International English Language Testing System: minimum 6.5 score

• Pearson Test of English: minimum 58 score

Based on summer 2020 tuition and fees, non-resident graduate students will be charged approximately US$12,500 for tuition and fees if enrolled in six credit hours. Whereas the resident rate for six hours of graduate credit is approximately US$6,100.

Graduate teaching assistantships (GTA), graduate research assistantships (GRA), and graduate assistantships (GA) are common forms of funding for graduate students. Most assistantships are 0.5 FTE appointments that include a bi-weekly stipend.

GTA appointments also include tuition remission for up to 10 credit hours each semester. Some GRA appointments include tuition support, but this varies by employing unit. Some departments or programs may have scholarships for graduate students.
