Founded in Switzerland in 1954, Les Roches offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in the fields of hospitality, tourism and event management. We are ranked in the global Top 3 by subject, as well as in the Top 3 worldwide for Employer Reputation*.

We have campuses in in Crans-Montana (Switzerland), Marbella (Spain) and Shanghai (China), providing a unique learning environment to a culturally diverse student body, in which more than 100 different nationalities are represented.

We follow the Swiss model of hospitality education, with experiential, hands-on learning built into the fabric of the study programs we offer. Undergraduate programs include our world-class Bachelor’s in Global Hospitality Management and popular Diploma in International Hotel Management. At graduate level we offer the world’s first Master’s in Hospitality Strategy and Digital Transformation, together with the only full-time, on campus MBA taught by a global Top 3 hospitality business school.

Les Roches is not just a school, it’s a way of life!

COVID-19 Information:

•            What is the status of planned campus admission open days/tours?
We are hosting frequent virtual open days and webinars for our prospective students, presented by faculty and subject experts. In the current uncertain times, we have suspended in-person open days and private visits as all our campuses are temporarily closed.  We forecast that these on-campus events will recommence in the summer. We will keep our prospective students informed and to offer the online alternatives to them.

•            How can applicants contact the university about their application?
All our normal channels of enquiry and application are open for Les Roches at https://lesroches.edu/apply/ and our International Enrolment and Admissions teams are fully operational.

•            How is the university handling applicants whose exams have been cancelled?
We are closely following the policies of each country and exam board whilst maintaining our quality standards for admitting applicants. We are adapting our admissions processes to take account of the specific circumstances that each student finds themselves in.

•            What advice is the university offering to applicants unable to take an English-language test due to centers being closed?
We have a number of solutions available for testing students’ English language capabilities, and for supporting their development in English, and are working closely with accrediting and governing bodies to ensure that we are able to accept qualified students to the appropriate program for their academic and language level in order to help them meet their education and career goals.

•             How is the university supporting applicants whose visa applications have been delayed?
We envisage that we will start the Autumn semesters in mid-October (instead of early September), in part to support new students who are delayed in securing a visa. As always we will work with every student individually, through our extensive global network of education counsellors, to advise them during their application process from first enquiry to arrival on campus.

•             Is the university still accepting applications? Are there any restrictions being placed on international applicants?
We  are open for applications and have no specific restrictions on applicants, as long as places remain available and they meet the entry level criteria.  We look forward to welcoming new students for the revised mid-October start date.  Of course, we will closely monitor and work within the guidelines of the national and local authorities where  each of our campuses is based to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our students and the wider community.

•             How are applications for university accommodation being handled?
We provide accommodation on or close to the campus for all new students and the room allocation is handled, as normal, as part of the application process.

•             Is the university making any changes to entry requirements (i.e. test results, required documents)?
There are no changes to entry requirements, however as mentioned above we are adapting processes to provide solutions where students are constrained due to the availability of English language tests or the timing of graduation from their current place of study.
