META University

Eurasian Technological University (ETU) is a boutique private university located in Almaty, Kazakhstan.  Over the past 20 years, the university has consistently adhered to the principles of international education. In 2003, ETU was among the first universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan that adopted the three-level European education system "Bachelor-Master-Doctor (PhD)." In 2010, among the leading universities of the country, ETU entered the Magna Carta of Universities, making obligations to implement the principles of the Bologna process. ETU has implemented a multilingual education system; languages of instruction are Kazakh, Russian, and English. Apart from delivering theoretical and practical knowledge, ETU is a student-oriented university; its top priority is to provide support services for students' satisfaction and wellbeing. Mostly, it includes organisation of various types of events and activities for students' orientation, adaptation, soft skills development as well as design inclusive education programs to inculcate social responsibility of the students.  The university is a part of an educational consortium, which also includes: Eurasian Agrarian College, Eurasian Technological College and Eurasia Lyceum. ETU is the only university in Almaty that has a completely new building built "from scratch". ETU has 50 spacious, multi-format classrooms that are suitable for many different types of classes and are equipped with all the necessary modern equipment. Also, students actively use the Design Studio and Laboratories of robotics, where they can improve their creative and professional skills using the necessary equipment. Eurasian Technological University is located in the heart of Almaty. Almaty is the largest modern city of the Republic of Kazakhstan, located in the foothills of snow-capped peaks. More than 2 million people live in the metropolis, international companies, shopping centers, sports and cultural facilities operate here. 

ETU’s educational programs have different directions in IT, engineering and economic sciences, law, services, and art. By the moment, there are 3 scientific and educational schools with different BA and MA programs: School of Engineering and Information Technologies, School of Economics, Legal Technologies, Tourism, Hospitality and Restaurant Management, School and Social Sciences.  

In 2025, ETU opens Center of Asian languages: Chinese, Japanese, Korean.
