The Bachelor International Business program at MBS is a full-time undergraduate degree designed to combine a solid foundation in business administration with extensive international exposure and hands-on practical experience. The program comprises six to seven semesters (210 ECTS), including a bachelor’s thesis, and is offered in English or in a bilingual format (German/English).

The curriculum follows a structured yet flexible approach. During the first three semesters, students build core competencies in business and economics, including accounting, finance, marketing, and management. These theoretical foundations are consistently applied through workshops, case studies, project work, and company excursions, ensuring early exposure to real-world business contexts.

A defining feature of the program is its strong international and practical orientation. Students complete at least one semester abroad at one of over 70 partner universities worldwide, gaining intercultural competence and global business insights. In addition, the program includes multiple internships, both in Germany and abroad, allowing students to gain substantial professional experience during their studies.

In the later stages of the program, students personalize their academic path by selecting concentrations and electives aligned with their career goals. A key practical element is the entrepreneurial (startup) project, where students develop and implement their own business ideas.

With its combination of academic rigor, international mobility, and practical training, the Bachelor International Business program prepares graduates for careers in global business environments or for advanced studies in management-related fields.
