Upholding the concept of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude, the Interdisciplinary Program of Engineering (IPE), established “double expertise” programs. Freshmen learn basic engineering knowledge in the first year and select major among Chemical Engineering, Power Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management in the second year with unlimited enrollment and no grade point requirement. Students can also take double-expertise programs to specialize in two different fields.
