Training of specialists capable of comprehensively solving tasks related to the development of new and modernization and operation of existing automation systems, computer-integrated technologies, and robotics in urban management and/or digital manufacturing using modern software and hardware tools and information technologies. This includes conducting theoretical research on automation objects, justifying the selection of automation technical means, designing automation systems, and developing applied software for various purposes. The program is developed in accordance with the mission and strategy of the university, which focuses on training highly qualified personnel for regional development and urban management.

Object of study: Technical, software, mathematical, informational, and organizational support for automation and robotics systems of objects and processes in various fields, utilizing modern microprocessor and computer technology, specialized applied software, and information technologies.

Learning objectives: Training specialists capable of comprehensively solving tasks related to the development of new and modernization and operation of existing automation systems using computer-integrated technologies and robotics. This includes applying modern software and hardware tools and information technologies, conducting theoretical research on automation objects, justifying the selection of automation technical means, designing automation systems, and developing applied software for various purposes.

Theoretical content of the subject area: Concepts and principles of automatic control theory, automation systems, computer-integrated technologies, and robotics. Methods, methodologies, and technologies. Graduates must master methods and software tools for modeling, designing, and automated control of complex organizational and technical objects, information technologies, knowledge of automation technical means, and skills in developing applied software for automation and robotics systems.

Tools and equipment: Modern software and hardware tools and computer-integrated technologies for designing, modeling, researching, and operating automation and robotics systems.

The program focuses on training specialists capable of solving tasks related to the development of new, improvement, and operation of existing automation and robotics systems in urban management and/or digital manufacturing, using modern software and hardware complexes, automation technical means, and computer-integrated Industry 4.0 technologies.

A distinctive feature of the program is the in-depth practical training using specialized software for designing automation systems, programming microprocessors, programmable logic controllers, industrial robots, and numerically controlled equipment, as well as computer-integrated CAD/CAM/CAE systems. This is supported by industrial partners, including the possibility of implementing dual education programs and international mobility programs.

-        Use of the urban management automation systems laboratory (ETC) in the educational process ,

-        Development of modern software skills within the "CNI" IT Academy ,

-        Integration of the Internet of Things laboratory in the educational process ,

-        Use of the cyber-physical systems modeling laboratory, equipped with the ANSYS software complex, in the educational process ,

-        Access to the digital manufacturing laboratory ,

-        Mastering modern 3D printing technologies at the "Engineering and Computer Graphics" workshop ,

-        Use of the electro-pneumatic automation and automated electric drive laboratory in the learning process.
