The University also facilitates research leading to Doctoraldegrees in 18 disciplines. The programs offered by REVA University are wellplanned and defined after a detailed study of the industrial need, socialrelevance and global job market. Highly qualified and experienced faculty andscholars from reputed universities /institutions, experts from industries andbusiness sectors have contributed in preparing schemes of instruction andcurricula for these programs. The University has collaborations with Industries, Corporatetraining organizations, research institutions and Government agencies like NSDC(National Skill Development Corporation) to conduct certification programs. TheUniversity has also international collaborations with universities abroad sothat we can facilitate student exchange and teacher – scholar exchangeprograms. REVA also has tie ups with Universities abroad to provide jointdegree programs.

REVA University recognising the fact that research anddevelopment are the important functions of any university has established anindependent Research and Innovation division headed by a senior professor as aDirector. This division facilitates all faculty members and research scholarsto undertake innovative research projects in Engineering, Science &Technology and other areas of study. The interdisciplinary-multidisciplinaryresearch is given the top most priority. The division continuously liaisonsbetween various funding agencies, R&D Institutions, Industries and facultymembers of REVA University to facilitate undertaking innovative projects. Itencourages student research projects by forming different research groups underthe guidance of senior faculty.

The University has also given greater importance to qualityeducation in research and therefore has established an independent internalquality division lead by a senior professor as Director of Internal Quality.
