Established in 2000, Singapore Management University (SMU) is renowned for generating high-impact and relevant multi-disciplinary research that addresses Asian issues of global relevance. It is also known for its broad-based curriculum, a collaborative and project-based approach to learning, and for its interactive pedagogy with small class sizes.

The School of Accountancy is ranked 5th globally for Financial Archival Research in the Brigham Young University’s Accounting Research Rankings for 2016, while the Lee Kong Chian School of Business is ranked 49th in the University of Texas, Dallas’ Top 100 Worldwide Business School Research Rankings.
SMU has 350 full-time faculty members representing 30 nationalities and has a network of 17,000 undergraduate and postgraduate alumni around the world.
