Financial aid

SSE offers a number of scholarships for international students from outside the EU, EEA or Switzerland. You will be automatically considered for a scholarship when you apply to a course, with awards given on the basis of academic merit, motivation, extracurricular activities and diversity.

More than 90% of SSE's students find employment within three months of graduation. The wide variety of business programs at SSE is developed in close collaboration with researchers and businesses to help graduates take the lead in business, government, media, politics, entrepreneurship or NGOs.

Tuition fees

Citizens of an EU/EEA country or Switzerland are not required to pay tuition fees. Non-EU/EEA citizens are generally required to pay SEK 120,000 (USD 11,500) per academic year.

Sweden’s Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) offers five two-year Master programs taught in English:


Tuition fees

Citizens of an EU/EEA country or Switzerland are not required to pay tuition fees. Non-EU/EEA citizens are generally required to pay SEK 180,000 (USD 17,500) per academic year.

Application requirements

The application requirements vary depending on the program, but they typically include

  1. a strong relevant Bachelor’s degree
  2. proof of proficiency in English (at least 7 points in the IELTS test or at least 100 points in the TOEFL iBT)
  3. a GMAT score of at least 600 or a GRE score of at least 155
  4. and a  strong personal statement
