This Law with Policing LLB degree covers the foundations of legal knowledge, plus a strong introduction to core principles of police practice and policy. The law and policing modules concentrations are divided to 67% and 33% respectively in each year of the programme allowing for development of expertise in both areas of study, culminating in a dissertation combining both disciplines. The degree covers the foundations of legal knowledge; these seven subjects are Contract Law, Public Law, Tort, Land Law, Criminal Law, Equity and Trusts, and European Union Law. These subjects are needed to allow one to progress to further training as a barrister.
