Admission Requirements
Applicants must have the following documentation:
• Duly completed registration form. • Unique CV format (attaching certificates corresponding to academic recognitions, teaching, research and/or professional trajectory; presentations, and publications). • Photocopy of identification document. • Authenticated photocopy of the professional degree. • Photocopy of the Degree Certificate. • Undergraduate transcript with cumulative average issued by the respective university (original and copy). • Letter of acceptance from a research group with institutional recognition, indicating and ensuring the student's work plan. • Letter of availability and full-time dedication to the program signed by the applicant. • Letter informing the name of the doctoral thesis advisor who must be a full-time UPTC faculty member with a Doctorate degree, signed by the applicant and the advisor. • Doctoral thesis proposal endorsed by the supporting research group. • Two recent color photographs, size 3x4. Applicants to the Doctorate program who possess Master's degrees must additionally attach the following documents:
• Authenticated photocopy of the Master's degree (for degrees obtained abroad, attach validation from the Ministry of National Education). • Master's Degree Certificate. • Original certificate of grades from the Master's program. • Copy issued by the program authority indicating the programmatic content of the courses taken, the hourly intensity, and/or the corresponding academic credits. • Copy of the publications or presentations resulting from the master's thesis. • Submit the doctoral thesis proposal as an attachment to these requirements, endorsed by the supporting research group.
