The Bachelor (S1) of Informatics Study Program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in computer science while offering specialization areas in Computational Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Software Engineering, and Distributed Systems. Students acquire fundamental knowledge in algorithms, data structures, databases, and operating systems, along with essential programming and problem-solving skills.

The specialization in Natural Language Processing focuses on enabling computers to understand and process human language, including text analysis, speech processing, and AI-based language applications. Software Engineering emphasizes the systematic design, development, testing, and maintenance of reliable and scalable software systems. The Distributed Systems specialization explores the architecture and coordination of systems operating across multiple interconnected computers, including cloud computing and network-based services. Admission Requirements

The Bachelor of Informatics (S1) program at Universitas Trunojoyo Madura (UTM) is open to applicants who have completed senior high school (SMA/MA/SMK or equivalent) or are in their final year. Admission is conducted through national selection pathways—SNBP (based on academic and non-academic achievements) and SNBT (based on UTBK test scores)—as well as UTM’s independent selection (SMMUTM). Applicants are expected to come from science-oriented study tracks, particularly Natural Sciences (IPA) at senior high schools or technology-related fields at vocational high schools (SMK).
