Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley has a financial engineering degree, which fully prepares students with both the knowledge and skills required for a career in the finance industry. The school has been listed in the 2018 edition of the QS Business Master’s Ranking.
The program is a STEM-designated degree, and is one year in duration. There is the opportunity to take part in the Morgan Stanley Applied Finance Project. Courses include investments and derivatives, financial innovation in a global marketplace, and behavioral finance. Students have a high percentage rate for both internship placements, and employment post-graduation, with 100 percent placed for internships in 2016, and 94 percent offered employment.
