University of Connecticut’s School of Business has a specialized master’s degree in business analytics and project management. This course acts as the perfect foundations for a career in business, and as such, the school has been listed in the 2018 edition of the QS Business Master’s Ranking.

The course is available as a full-time, or part-time course, and from Fall 2017, will be available at the Hartford, Stamford, and Connecticut campuses. It is a STEM-eligible degree, but does not require an undergraduate background in business; postgraduates often have undergraduate degrees in liberal arts, science, and engineering, as well as business. The course is divided into five three-credit courses in business analytics, one credit in technical communications, and four three-credit courses in project management, as well as nine credit hours in electives. Courses include project risk and cost management, enterprise security, governance, and audit, and survival analysis using SAS BASE. The school uses experiential learning, where you can apply your skills to real world business problems, including an experiential learning collaborative, where students and businesses come together in collaborating in real-world projects, and the Capstone project, which is a live data analytics project.

Graduates from the University of Connecticut School of Business have gone on to work for Goldman Sachs Corp., NewStar Financial, Wal-Mart Stores, and Citigroup Inc.
