Our certificate and master's programs prepare pre-career and mid-career professionals for dynamic and impactful work in the public and nonprofit sectors by developing a core set of skills, scholarly knowledge, and applied and basic research. In all of our core classes, we emphasize the need for integrity, ethical conduct, serving the public interest, fairness, accountability and transparency in public service. Graduates serve as city managers, budget directors and policy analysts, to name just a few careers. The M.P.A., Public Administration program prepares students for positions in the public and nonprofit sectors. It also prepares college graduates for professional public service and enhances the professional competence of mid-career public administrators. It is offered fully online, in person, or via robot. This is the only nationally accredited MPA Program in the state of Montana. In addition, this is the only MPA program in a school of law in the United States.
