The BA in Environmental and Sustainability Studies focuses upon Environmental Citizenship. Our graduates understand the ecological underpinnings of environmental issues but focus upon the social and humanistic aspects of environmental challenges, such as ethics, policy, Indigenous perspectives, gender and environmental justice among others. Sustainable approaches are learnt through courses in policy, law, environmental assessment and carbon and energy management. A toolbox of employable skills is developed through work in GIS, cartography, communication and public engagement techniques.
