The Degree Course in Hearing Aid Techniques (qualifying for the healthcare profession of Hearing Aid Technician) aims to achieve the training objectives defined below: know the physiological basis of the auditory and vestibular system; learn the clinical bases of the alterations of the auditory and vestibular function; be able to perform all non-invasive, psycho-acoustic and electrophysiological tests for the evaluation and measurement of the auditory system; know the rehabilitation procedures for the handicap resulting from a pathology of the hearing system; know how to interact with the specialist doctor and perform professional acts specific to the profile in full responsibility and consequent autonomy; and collaborate with other professionals in deafness prevention and rehabilitation programs using instrumental techniques and methodologies and prosthetic.
