Admission Requirements

Applicants for master's programs must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport and in good mental and physical health. They should hold a bachelor's degree (equivalent to a Chinese bachelor's degree) and, if still in the process of completing their degree, provide a Pre-graduation Certificate to confirm they will finish by the specified deadline. Applicants should be under 40 years of age and meet language proficiency requirements, such as passing HSK Level 4 or higher for Chinese-instructed programs, or providing proof of English proficiency for English-instructed programs. Additionally, applicants must meet the general admission criteria for international students at USTC.
