Admission requirements
Undergraduate Degree**
** Students without any prior knowledge of the hospitality industry must take the Vatel's 5-week Passerelle program.
English Proficiency: TOEFL 580 (90 IBT) or IELTS 6.0 (academic) + one-page personal essay or a cover letter written in English.

Training objective
Acquiring analytical and decision-making methods, as well as practical managerial experience. Developing an open mindset on business in general in order to cultivate entrepreneurial qualities, especially in tourism and the international hospitality industry.

MBA year 1
ECTS 60 credits
Step by step, students acquire analytical and decision-making methods as well as managerial experience.

MBA year 2
ECTS 60 credits

Students study key strategic rules and then apply them to Hotel Management.

Students may choose an MBA specialization for their second year. In this case, Semester 2 is academic and Semester 3 targets management training applied to that specialization.

When they have a targeted professional project and their application has been accepted by both schools, students in the MBA in International Hotel Management program can decide to do their 5th and last year at another Vatel campus.

Training objective
Complete knowledge of management, team-building, and executive functions in an international environment. Acquiring a professional, legal, economic, and linguistic culture with the objective of having an operational management post in the company.

Bachelor year 1

Students are introduced to Marketing, Human Resources, Administration and Professional Culture. They also learn the rudiments of Catering and Culinary Arts, as well as how to address constraints and unexpected events that arise in Banqueting, Reception and Seminars.

Bachelor year 2
60 ECTS credits
While continuing to enhance their theoretical knowledge, students are introduced to management. During the practical training, they manage the first-year students, while being managed themselves by the third-year students. Students gain in self-confidence and do an internship in a foreign country other than France.

Thanks to the Marco Polo program, students may do their second year at a Vatel campus elsewhere in the world. This is an opportunity to further develop an international culture while continuing to focus seriously on their syllabus.

Bachelor year 3
60 ECTS credits
Having learned the fundamentals needed to begin team management, students now apply this knowledge in their third and final year. They develop their analytical skills while using the knowledge acquired thus far in the program. They are able to devise strategies and take their first managerial decisions.
