Our Master of Forensic Science program is designed for those looking for advanced knowledge across a range of forensic disciplines including crime scene investigation, fingerprint detection and identification, forensic chemistry, forensic biology, forensic toxicology, illicit drug analysis, and forensic medicine. This course offers a range of specialised study areas including toxicology, blood distribution and spatter and pharmaceutical analysis, allowing you to develop broader and more comprehensive skill sets in the field. Throughout the course, you will complete two compulsory research projects ensuring that upon graduation you can confidently plan and execute forensic research, based off in depth analysis and investigation. Our students also develop the writing and presentation skills appropriate for international journal publications and conferences. On completion of this forensic science program, graduates are well equipped with knowledge and skills required to work in areas such as forensic laboratories, toxicology and pathology laboratories, drug assessment agencies and customs and border protection.
