This year’s subject rankings include Sports-related subjects for the first time ever. In compiling these rankings, the following subjects were deemed eligible:

In this first-ever ranking of Sports-related subjects, the title has been shared by Loughborough University in the UK and the University of Sydney in Australia. The University of Queensland (UQ), also in Australia, has had to settle for bronze.
