The linguistics ranking has traditionally been dominated by US universities and this year is no different. In addition to Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) once again being ranked in first place, there’s an eye-catching climb up the table for the University of Maryland, College Park which has risen 10 places from 13th to third.
