.

Students at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna have obviously been giving it a lot of razzle-dazzle over the last 12 months, as their institution has climbed three places to share first place in this year’s performing arts ranking with the prestigious Julliard School. The Austrian university even out-scores its US counterpart for academic reputation, although remains less reputable with employers.

The QS World University Rankings by Subject are based upon academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact (click here to read the full methodology).
