The University has some of the most innovative and well-designed buildings in the UK and our Bernard King Library and our Abertay Student Centre have set the standard for universities across the UK. The facilities available across our campus are excellent and we pride ourselves that we are ranked very highly in the UK for the ratio of PCs to students. But it's not all work and no play: Dundee offers students some outstanding entertainment and social and cultural facilities. Also, sport plays an important part in university life, as our sporting achievements demonstrate.

Being a student at Abertay is a rewarding experience. Our halls of residence are of the highest quality and a place in university accommodation is given to all first year students who register by the deadline. We have some fantastic new accommodation that has been purpose built and is just five minutes' walk from the University. With a variety of flat sizes and bedroom styles, this residence will has rapidly become a popular option for all students.We welcome students coming from college. Many of our students join us through this route and go on to achieve great success in their studies and careers. You can also expect to see many international students in the city. Over 17% of our students are from countries outside Europe, including India, China, Malaysia, Thailand and Pakistan.
