You’ll develop your research skills by completing a dissertation. This can be on a topic you want to explore further, or it can be related to an industrial placement, which you'll have the opportunity to apply to undertake. Both forms of dissertation will be supported by our academic staff.
Designed and delivered by a multi-disciplinary team of leading academics, who have over 60 years' experience in training civil engineers. Abertay has close links with industry and a high research rating in Civil and Environmental Engineering within Scotland.
You’ll graduate with the ability to manage and solve the multi-layered environmental challenges within current civil engineering projects.
The programme can be studied full time for one year or over two years part-time.
