The Celtic Studies programme offers insight into the
culture, literature, history and languages of Britain, Ireland, Europe and
beyond from the earliest period to the present day. As well as bringing the
Celtic- speaking world to life, this course aims to provide students broad
training in the Humanities and help them develop in-depth analytical and
critical skills. Students are not required to be fluent in Welsh or Irish to
study Celtic Studies to apply to this course as it is open to both beginners
and advanced students.
