Specialist engineering: Harper Adams concentrates on the teaching of specialist mechanical engineering courses aimed at the agricultural and off highway industries. Our Agricultural Engineering graduates are leading the development of machinery and systems to support the challenges of the global agricultural industry, whilst our Off Road Vehicle Design graduates are involved in developing the next generation of off highway vehicles in industries including military, construction and agriculture. The university's reputation for excellent teaching and applied research is built on a long and successful history of supplying industry with high calibre engineers who already have a proven ability to deliver solutions to complex real world problems. This course is accredited by the Institution of Agricultural Engineers (IAgrE) on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer.
