About the programme
Two academicians and 23 Doctors of Science with widespread experience in international cooperation form the faculty of our two training programmes. Their knowledge, their experience and the requirements of the scientific community guarantee an outstandingly high standard for the theses of our PhD students. Candidates of our PhD programme are required to have a minimum of two original papers, one of them as first author in an international scientific journal with impact factor. Total impact factor required of the publications is 4.0.
Educational programmes: Physiological and Pathological Function of the Neuroendocrine System, Neuroscience.
Sample research areas: Effects of environment-related damage to the endocrine system, Methodology of neuro-endocrine investigation, Problems arising during the care of patients with inflammatory bowel disease, Development of sensory functions, Plasticity in the brain, Stress markers in experimental brain hypoxia, and Regulation of neuronal gene expression. Application requirements:

Preveious Academic records* in fields of pharmacy, medicine or related fields. Certificates of language proficiency in English: at least intermediate level certified by internationally accredited language examination (TEL C B2, ECL B2, TOE FL iBT test score of at least 72, or PBT score at least 550; Cambridge First Certificate at least “B”; IELT S score of at least 5.5) and on individual interview online.  Specific expectations:  students having previous scientific work in the above fields. Applicants should contact a relevant supervisor of the proposal and agree on the given research theme before submitting the application.
