The IU Online MSEd in Literacy, Culture, and Language Education is designed to help you understand language and literacy processes in cultural contexts, integrate formal and informal assessment with instruction, and apply research findings to practice and internship opportunities. You interact with children, high school and college youth, and adults. You also have plenty of opportunities to apply current technology to teaching and learning. IU Online students receive one-on-one support to help them reach their personal and academic goals. Undergraduate and graduate students are assigned an academic advisor, and undergraduate students enjoy the added benefit of a personal success coach.

To be accepted to this program, you must have: a bachelor's degree and 2.7 GPA or above on a 4.0 scale. GRE scores (not required for students with an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited U.S. institution). (Typical GRE verbal score of 150 or better, a quantitative score of 145 or better, and an analytical writing score of 4.0 or better)
