The IU Online Bachelor of Science in Nursing is a degree completion program designed for registered nurses (RN) wanting to receive a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). The program offers a flexible curriculum that prepares you to meet society's current and future health needs, and it also lays a foundation for leadership positions and graduate study. Flexible paths of study allow you to complete nursing courses in 12 months of full-time study or 18 to 24 months of part-time study along with up to nine months of general education coursework. Each semester is split into two learning modules, which are completed in seven to eight weeks so that you may finish up to four courses every semester. Practicums or clinical experiences are embedded in didactic or lecture-based courses and can be tailored to your experience and career goals. A Part-Time option is available for this program.

To be accepted to this program, you must have: An Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or nursing diploma (Check with your home campus for accreditation requirements), A current, unencumbered RN license in the state in which you are practicing and/or plan to meet clinical requirements, Nine credit hours of general education courses may be taken with nursing coursework, Completed a criminal background check for your home campus AND Met all other admissions requirements.
