B.A. (Hons.) in Public Policy is a unique and first-of-its-kind interdisciplinary programme in India, which provides the students with a solid grounding in social science theories and their applications. Students will learn to use social sciences to solve problems of the society and the economy. They will acquire skills to develop models and tools, and apply those in the field of public policy, development interventions, journalism, advocacy, communications, branding and marketing research.
The broad structure of the programme will impart the knowledge required to succeed in the civil services entrance examination. The core courses will help students to gain conceptual clarity and an array of electives will allow them to learn about the social issues and topics of their choice.

Admission Requirements

Applicants to the B.A. (Hons.) in Public Policy at JSGP must have successfully passed the examination at the 10+2 level of schooling or its equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks. Students completing Class 12 in 2021 can also apply.
