Established in 2019, the Transdisciplinary Program in the College of Education (TPICOE) aims to provide students with opportunities to explore their self-directed interests, reduce the mismatch between their fields of study and personal passions, and break down the rigid boundaries between individual disciplines. However, the program recognizes the importance of "first exploring, then integrating." Following diverse interdisciplinary exploration, the program aims to offer students comprehensive training that integrates cross-disciplinary thinking, practice, and innovation. Furthermore, as the importance of English proficiency TPICOE turns to be a whole English taught program from 2024.
The program is conducted entirely in English with the goal of cultivating innovative leaders in international education. Additionally, the program integrates the development of secondary specialization in three areas: Digital and Innovative Industry, Health and Wellbeing, and Human Resources &Career Planning. During their studies, students are expected to specialize in international education leadership innovation while selecting one or more secondary specialties. Students will have to earn at least 128 credits to meet the graduation standard.
