This new degree, approved by the National Commission for University Evaluation and Accreditation [CONEAU, Act 513 of 10-7-2019], is equivalent to a (Pontifical) Bachelor's Degree with a specialization.

The Master's degree in Theology aims to enable students to cultivate, through research, an area of ​​theological knowledge (Sacred Scripture, Dogmatic Theology, Pastoral Theology, Moral Theology, or Church History), to practice theological operations and habits specific to it, and to begin the search for, creation, and communication of comprehensive and up-to-date scientific knowledge in the face of ever-emerging ecclesial and cultural challenges.

Admission Requirements

To enroll in the Master's degree, the candidate must submit:
  • Original and certified photocopy of the Bachelor's degree in Systematic Theology or the Bachelor's degree in Theology (pontifical equivalent)
  • Photocopy of the DNI
  • A letter of introduction from an ecclesiastical authority, for priests and religious, and from an academic authority, for laypeople.
  • Certification of the two (2) modern languages ​​required.
  • Certification of Greek and Hebrew languages ​​where applicable.
  • Proof of payment of tuition.
