The program consists of a total of 16 courses, taught over two years, with four courses per semester. All courses include a percentage of asynchronous hours delivered using the most up-to-date platform. The remaining hours are taught in a "hybrid elective" format, allowing participants to choose between being in a physical classroom or connecting via videoconference. The UCA has special rooms for full remote participation.
Each semester will include: a course addressing a philosophical problem or discussion in a specific historical period; a seminar addressing philosophical issues related to other disciplines or classical cultural dimensions; a seminar addressing specific works, problems, or thinkers in philosophy; and a workshop addressing the practice of philosophical skills, whether written or oral.
