The Humanities program in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences is offered as a major, a minor, and a joint major with English; French; History; Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies; or Philosophy. The program also offers languages through the Language Training Institute, and certificates in religious studies and in medieval and Renaissance studies. The study of the Humanities covers a broad range of ideas and subjects drawn from philosophy, art, literature, history, religion, science, and social and political thought.
