The Master of Education is designed to promote prepare teachers and school administrators with the knowledge and skills they need to advance their careers in leadership roles. The M.Ed program aims to prepare, develop, and produce reflective scholar-practioners skilled in data-driven decision making who are able to contribute to positive change in education, academic settings, and where education meets industry. The Master of Education in an intensive, fulltime program in which students are able to complete the entire program within one and a half years, or three semesters. Classes are offered on Fridays and Saturdays to provide flexibility for working professionals seeking to advance their careers. The Master of Education at AURAK sets itself apart from other Master’s programs: Firstly, we have a successful track record of professional growth from graduates of our program. Nearly 70% of our graduates have successfully passed leadership assessments for promotion to more senior leadership roles. A minimum of two (2) years of experience of teaching or equivalent work experience is required.
Students transitioning from the Post Graduate Diploma in Education must have earned a CGPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale in their program of study for admission into the Master of Education.
