The different visual sectors include and are not limited to the ways of life: Publishing (books, magazines, flyers...) Advertising (newspapers, magazines, billboards, brochures, and leaflets…) Guiding (organising information and banners….) Digital design (websites, social media…)
At the end of this journey, you would have a deep understanding of creative industries in the design work market.
Graphic design guarantees personal development if you have a thirst for knowledge on the base that you are hardworking and can perform under pressure. Having basic drawings skills and the ability to see the underlaying message of things in order to merge works with picture as a basis for visual communication.
You will enjoy photo editing and manipulating letters (typography) to create visual aids.
When you visit the department of Graphic Design you will find and exciting array of traditional and digitals labs, drawing rooms and classrooms.
For the duration of this journey, consisting of 136 hours (4 years full-time), you will find yourself working on realistic projects in different sectors that are directly related to our daily life such as politics, economics, health, environmental, sports and humanitarian issues. Which is why you will learn foundation modules that elevates your drawing, photographic, perspective, painting, photo editing skills as well as the fundamentals of design. The latter years will take you deeper into the understanding of branding, and commercial identity using design-oriented programs, theories and methods of design. For the purpose of publishing, marketing, directing. As a consequence of learning the history of your major, visual language, sociology of design. You will then get practical experience in field work and finish with your major final project.
After graduation, if you excel at visual commination, have literary merit, general and specialised knowledge supported by an outstanding portfolio that reflects positively on your unique style and approach and clear message that helps you stand out from the crowd, you’re all set for success.
