We’ve designed this course to provide the forward-facing skills required in today’s evolving accounting and finance sector. You’ll gain an in-depth understanding of key areas in the field, including the role and scope of technology in the sector—such as FinTech and accounting software. You’ll also develop the ability to make sound investment decisions. Throughout the course, you’ll have the opportunity to put your learning into practice, helping you gain real-world skills to use in your future role.
This course is accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the world’s largest global professional accountancy body. This means your course content is fully aligned with the first two stages of the ACCA qualification to maximise your potential exemptions. When you graduate—provided you have passed the required modules—you’ll be eligible for up to nine exemptions from ACCA*. With these exemptions, it’s possible to become an ACCA-qualified accountant within two years of graduation.
Our program is aligned with the standards of a leading professional body, preparing you to pursue qualifications from CIMA. This means you’ll be well equipped to progress along this pathway and take the next step in your professional journey.
Graduates may also be eligible for exemptions, which are assessed directly by CIMA. In addition, the degree is recognised as a valid entry criterion for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) programme, meaning you’ll be eligible to apply for the CFA upon graduation.
We have also partnered with Moody's to give you access to a wealth of financial data. Using this alongside advanced statistical software will give you the opportunity to make real-world financial decisions using live data, ensuring that you’re well-versed in modern finance before you even graduate.
*All exemptions from ACCA are conditional upon passing the relevant exams at Arden University. The professional body does not award exemptions based on a compensated pass for a module that is specified as a requirement for exemption from an ACCA exam.
